"He may have beat me, scarred me, shattered me in a million pieces, but I'm not under his control I get to decide."

Pieces for you, a very fitting title for a nuanced story of rebuilding and love. Pieces for you picks up from Everleigh and Hunter's story in Only for You. Sam, Ev's best friend was brutalized and broken by a sadistic schoolmate at the end of Only For You and was in a recovery program trying to piece back what used to be a decent and fulfilling life. Once released she's forced to deal with a reality she is not fully prepared for. Griffin has waited in the sidelines for years, just waiting for his chance to be with Dam. His plans are thwarted when she's attacked but he's determined to be all she needs no matter the expense.

This novel will warm the hearts of its readers and give them something to hope and long for. Griffin and Sam's story is as strong as it is raw. There is a speed to this relationship that wasn't there in the first one. It was one of the only things that I worried would ruin the story but it didn't effect the story telling. Rulon continues to weave a tale of love that tantalizes and woos it readers. It definitely brought a few chuckles, hand fan action, and some smiles out of me. Rulon has a contemporary sarcastic wit that is easily relatable. I enjoyed this one immensely but there is a special place in my heart reserved only for Only For You but, do not be mistaken this one is just as good and certainly worth reading.
