The Stronger Safer Kind (The Boys of Downcrash, #1) by London Casey Book Review

A tortured love story with a love triangle so intense it will leave you panting for more.

Whew! *wipes brow* That was the most intense love triangle ever. Choosing between the damaged singing, guitar playing bad boy and the safe, romantic, caring best friend who's always been there proves to be no easy feat and I literally did not stop reading until I was all the way through. My mind is still reeling.

I may sound a little crazy saying this but, there is something about damaged characters that intrigue me. It's the healing part that I truly love. Everyone has problems but these characters carry pains so heavy they're like another layer of skin, heavy and clinging, apart of them.

This story was the most beautiful purging. So well written, lyrical like a beautiful haunting song. The love scenes were so intense and passionate my tablet was steaming. It had me captured from page one and it kept me all the way to the end. The author told a story filled with so much dark but so much light. She was able to make me smile, and cringe. It's a story I won't soon forget and will most likely revisit again and again.

(My only issue was Scarlet's last scene in the book, what was that?)
