Sweet Filthy Boy--New Adult Book Review
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.
I loved this story. It kept me up longer at night and it distracted me during the day. What I loved about this book specifically was its characters. The story itself is not all that unique but the characters, the banter, the vivid, and sensual love making--all of it made for a great read.

I loved Ansel from the minute he appeared in the story. He could say or do no wrong. I was enraptured. He was the very reason I kept turning the pages. His character was flawed as they all are but he was adorable in the way he spoke, the way he acted, and in the way he treated Mia.

Mia, who was at times irrational, and difficult. She never frustrated me. She stood strong and weak at the same time which made her character an enjoyable part of the story. I also loved both Mia, and Ansel's friends.

Each character, even if their time was short left some sort of impression on me. Harlow was my favorite. She never held her tongue and I think her story will be interesting! I actually think all of their stories will be told well. I won't credit this novel with being particularly unique but with all the things that matter, it excelled. Banter, character, romance all high on the scale. I can't wait to read Dirty Rowdy Thing!

  1. I haven't read this author and NA books are hit and miss for me, but I like the sound of banter and romance so I should give this one a try. Great review! ~Pam

    1. I agree. NA can totally be hit or miss but if you do check it out I hope you like it!
