Top Ten Tuesday-Top Ten Books people have been telling you that you MUST read

1. The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare--Okay I caved on this one because I bought book one when I seen it a discount book store for four bucks.

2. Any book written by John Green, with the Fault in Our Stars leading the pack. I've read TFIOS and I have a copy of Looking For Alaska I got for a dollar a couple of years ago. I'll get there but I'm not sure I'll read them all.

3. The Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead--I'm still on the fence about this one.
4. The Selection--Yeah, guys I'm working on it. I bought the book. I even bought book two for like three bucks. I'll start reading soon.
5. The Legend Series by Marie Lu--I'll read this series at some point in the near future. It just isn't on the top of my TBR.

6. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo--I'm planning on reading it sooner than later.

7. Cinder by Marissa Meyer--I bought it. I'm looking right at it. I'll read it soon.

8. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas--I bought it. So one day soon.

9. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

10. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

  1. This could practically be my list, except that I HAVE read The Selection, The Darkest Minds and the Bloodlines series. There are so many good books to read!!

  2. I either own or have read all of the books on your list except The Selection series. I heard it has a very agonizing love triangle so I don't know if I can stand it and I believe it just got extended into a five books series. I definitely recommend The Infernal Devices trilogy and the Legend trilogy. Both are action-packed in my opinion :) I think I can understand your hesitation with The Bloodlines series but if you've enjoyed TVA series, I'm sure you'll love Bloodlines too! I was definitely surprised by how much I enjoyed the spinoff series! Probably more than TVA ;)

  4. I think Looking For Alaska is John Green's best book but I have a soft spot for An Abundance of Katherines (if that makes sense). Most of these series are on my 'must get to one day' list too. If only we all had more time!

  6. OK, I'm just going to come out and say it. PLEASE GO READ CINDER NOW! I know you're looking at it, so you know, might as well turn those pages and start reading... right? :D

Oh, and with that, please read: Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Shadow and Bone :)

I've only read TFIOS and Looking for Alaska by John Green, but now I'm in the same boat as you. I do want to read the rest of his books, but then I'm just like ehhhhhhhh.

  9. So many people have told me to read The Legend Series, too. I'm on the fence about whether I want to pick it up or not. Same with all the John Green books. I read TFiOS but I'm not overly interested in reading the other ones. I'm sure I will at some point but I don't know! I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone and didn't love it. But I adore The Infernal Devices. I definitely recommend you move that up on your TBR list! I have Cinder on my shelf, too. I have just a couple books I need to read before I pick it up but I'm excited to! :)

  10. John Green is a well loved author and I've always been thinking about reading at least one of his books.. a friend of mine actually told me that maybe I should start with Papertowns (she said it was better than tFIOS)..
the Legend is really good! I'd say you put it at the top of your TBR list!
Cinder was also recommended to and I'm just keeping my eyes out for it since bookstores near me doesn't have it~

  12. Ok, I'm going to sound like the biggest book pusher ever, but you have listed some of my absolute FAVORITE books. Infernal Devices…LOVE LOVE LOVE, can't express how much love I have for this series. I want to reread it right now just thinking about it.

Bloodlines!!! Love it more than VA.

Cinder!!! I kept seeing this one around and hearing great things but it just didn't appeal to me for some reason. FINALLY, I read it and LOVED IT!!!!!

Throne of Glass. So good, but the second one is even better.

The Darkest Minds. The ending of this book KILLED ME!!!! At least you can read the second one immediately.

Legend series. One of my favorites!

    Shadow and Bone…LOVE IT!!!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone. To tell you the truth, I didn't love the first one. It was good, but I wasn't feeling it that much. Then the second one BLEW ME AWAY.

Finally, I love John Green and you can't go wrong. But out of those (I haven't read Will Grayson), The Abundance of Katherines is my least favorite.

    Have fun reading!! ~Pam
